Q1: How do I know if this filter is compatible with my refrigerator model?
A: You can confirm compatibility in three easy ways:
On the inner wall of your refrigerator, there is a silver nameplate marked with the refrigerator brand and specific model (e.g., Samsung RF26HFENDSR) for matching.
Check the model number on your current filter (e.g., EveryDrop® EDR1RXD1, PureSource Ultra II, MWF). Match it to the compatible models listed in the product description.
If you’re still unsure, contact our customer support team via live chat or email with your refrigerator or old filter’s model number, and we’ll gladly assist you.
Q2: Are your filters OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or aftermarket?
A: We offer high-quality aftermarket replacement filters. Our products are manufactured with the same (and often superior) filtration media, designed to meet or exceed the performance of OEM filters. They are certified to NSF standards, ensuring you get clean, great-tasting water and ice without the brand-name premium.
Q3: What certifications do your water filters have?
A: All our filters are independently tested and certified against NSF/ANSI standards. Most are certified to NSF/ANSI 42 (for reduction of chlorine, taste, and odor) and NSF/ANSI 53 (for reduction of health contaminants like lead, mercury, and pesticides). This certification ensures our filters effectively reduce specific contaminants for safer, cleaner water.

Q4: How long does shipping take, and where do you ship to?
A: We process and ship orders within 1-2 business days. We currently only ship to the United States via USPS, and delivery times may vary depending on the location selected at checkout.
Q5: How much is shipping?
A: We offer free shipping on all orders with no shipping charges within the United States.
Q6: Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
A: We are often able to modify or cancel orders if they haven’t yet been processed for shipping. Please contact us immediately via live chat or at OEM@superrefrigeratorfilterstore.com with your order number. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
Usage & Replacement
Q7: How often should I replace my refrigerator water filter?
A: We recommend replacing your refrigerator water filter every 6 months. However, this can vary based on your household’s water usage and the quality of your incoming water. Your refrigerator may also have a built-in indicator light that alerts you when it’s time for a replacement. A noticeable decrease in water flow or a change in water taste/odor are also clear signs it’s time for a new filter.
Q8: Is it difficult to install the filter?
A: Not at all! Installation is typically a simple, tool-free process that takes only a minute:
Locate the filter housing (inside the refrigerator compartment or in the grille at the bottom).
Turn the old filter counterclockwise to unlock it and pull it out.
Remove the protective packaging from the new filter.
Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it locks into place.
Run water for a few minutes to prime the filter and flush out any carbon fines.

Q9: What if the filter I receive doesn’t fit my refrigerator?
A: We stand by our products with a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If your filter is incompatible or you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, you can return it for a full refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt. The product must be unused and in its original packaging. Please contact our support team to initiate a return.
Q10: What is your warranty policy?
A: All our filters come with a 30-day limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If your filter fails prematurely under normal use, please contact us for a replacement or refund.
